2. IEEE: I am a member of IEEE. I started my association with IEEE since 1983 when I became a student member and in 1984, Chairman of the IEEE student branch in College of Engineering, Trivandrum. I have a modest number of IEEE conference papers and 2 papers in IEEE Magazines and Transactions (see my publication list here )
3. CSI: I am a life member of Computer Society of India, having been associated with it since 1989. I guest-edited the special issue of CSI communications on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics in December 2006. I have also published in CSI Communications and also CSI Journal since 1996
4. ISTE: I am a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education and attached to it since 1988. I was awarded ISTE National Award for Young Engineering Teachers in 1994.
5 ISCB: Since 2005, I am a member of the International Society for Computational Biology.
6. Kerala University Computational Biology Research Group is a network of my past, current and prospective research students and at present is a closed e-mail group.
7. KSCHE: From 2007 April, I am serving as member of the Kerala State Council of Higher Education, of Govt of Kerala. By virtue of this membership, I am also a member of syndicate of CUSAT (Cochin University of Science & Technology), Kochi, India. I shall be soon providing some resources here related to my activities in KSCHE.
